Just wondered what is likely to be the price charged for the carcass of various species after a paid stalked.

depends on the game dealer prices in the area you stalk, but round here, currently getting £2.10/KG for red and fallow, so lets say a stag weighed 100kg........£210, fallow buck of 75kg..... £157 I think roe are around £2.50 locally to me, so lets say a 20kg buck £50

£3/kg roe £3/kg red/fallow and £1.50/kg munty and chinks thats the price the dealer pays me , but dont take paying clients anymore but its the same for my guests and friends

Thanks for the replies.
So do you normally pay carcass fees depending on the weight after the animal has been gralloched and with fur on?
What sort of larder weight would one expect for fallow buck?

Edit; corrected brain fart

Fallow (buck rather than stag) as per my first post, 60-80kg? Weight is determined with head feet and gralloch removed but still in its skin.
