Cat skin

Trapped this cat a few years ago,it had stepped into a dog trap. Wild dogs killed it through the night and I took a pic because of the unusual coat on it.Forget the fox hanging behind it.
Any care to opine re this?

Domestic cat genes - a shame but I suppose it’s feral so cats are seen differently where you are.

In the early 1900s farmers and loggers in northern Sweden could have a cat skin sawn in to their trousers. Foxskins were sold for more money than a forestworker could earn in two months. Catskin could not be sold. A bad hunting dog could be used for a pair of gloves.
