Caught Today

Gone very very quiet round here catching wise
And just got in no foxes seen either

Moved all the traps today - so we will see what the morning brings - in about 4 and a half hours !

looked at an old thread saying put 2 call birds in from separate pairs. Anyone doing that this year or swear by it? I have got a spare magpie i could double up if its worth a go.

I always do that, I find the constant movement from the pair seems to help attract others. One on its own seems to just sit and sulk, pairs seem to attract others. I've watched from afar before, when a pair discover a single call bird they shout abuse for a bit then gradually close in.
With a pair they go straight at the strangers, doesn't usually take long before you've trapped them.
However quite often you'll find that one will kill and sometimes eat another when paired with strangers so make sure you have spares😁

No - not compliant animal welfare
Seem to remember a previous thread on multiple decoys, not illegal in England but is in Scotland? Had RSPCA chap around couple of seasons ago,no repercussions. Please post link to relevant details, my job depends on not being nicked and losing my licences ☹️
