I always do that, I find the constant movement from the pair seems to help attract others. One on its own seems to just sit and sulk,pairs seem to attract others. I've watched from afar before, when a pair discover a single call bird they shout abuse for a bit then gradually close in.looked at an old thread saying put 2 call birds in from separate pairs. Anyone doing that this year or swear by it? I have got a spare magpie i could double up if its worth a go.
