CDSG. Customer service

Hi. Asked cdsg for a refund on cancelled order , had no reply
Anybody else had dealings with refunds, customer service etc from them , how do you get on
Monty

Had this issue, gave them a few days, opened a PayPal dispute and had the refund in hours..

I ordered from them yesterday, parcel received by royal mail and being delivered Saturday. (I hope)

Left a load of messages about my order September basic redding die set, been told USA delivery, stuck in customs, unpacking order last week from redding, the man is trying my patience,
Been in touch with a few authorities but don’t want to waste there time due the the current situation.
Will be contacting all outlets including stalking directory were Mark Thomas advertises, if you have to wait so be it, but this could be fraud, deception but I have been unwell and don’t need this.
Just to prove I am not a disgruntled customer plus I have another order.View attachment 192125

If you can, you might want to edit your post to remove your address! If not, perhaps contact @admin / @sikamalc and ask them to do it for you!

I ordered some Hornady and Peterson cases in October when they were expected in November. The last time I looked at their website, it was going to be April. I get emails from them all the time with so-called sale offers, but I'll wait until I get what I've already ordered before I buy anything else from them. Spud was the same until he sorted things. Now I'll order from him, but check the stock levels first.
This all smacks of that

That’s nice to hear must be in stock & good to hear great communication. I am a very reasonable person but like honest communication, which I have not received.
Best of luck stay safe 👍

yes, they are in stock, I really hope they come, 6x47 lapua factory cases is something that didn't exist until I accidently found these. fingers crossed.

I ordered on the 20th October some Redding dies in 7.5 Swiss and they have no arrived yet. In this new world order I will sit tight and wait as everything I have ordered from them in the past has turned up.
I work in transport and customers are not getting things when they want and have been used to anymore. Getting containers in from the states is a nightmare and we have orders for goods we dont know when we will get cleared and located for dispatch.
I sympathise with them and will be patient.

I sympathise with anyone in this predicament reference deliveries, but don’t lie, as you work in transport have you closed down the main means of communication, or do you liaise with you clients. Websites can be a great way to do it, a good business is one that communicates when things go wrong.
but I am not going to spend my date taking to the countless people who have posted, especially as it wasn’t my thread. Have a good day 👍

I've never had any real problems with them!

The business model is a bit strange, I live about 15 miles away from it and wanted some powder and primers. They said they could only post at 50 quid. I took my business elsewhere that time.

Turns out even though they operate out of the same place as cottondale shooting ground. They are nothing to do with it, separate owners and the guy rents the unit down at the farm.

I had the same experience! I understand their reluctance to have people browsing and wasting their time but surely to check a FAC and hand over powder and primers that have been paid for takes five minutes...?!

I really think the only way to deal with CDSG is to make sure that they have the stock before you order. In that circumstance, they seem reliable and quick. I wouldn't want to be in the position of waiting for back-orders - especially with the lead times that they quote.

The last few orders I have placed have all been fulfilled within 24-48 hours including a powder order a cuppla weeks ago.

This thing where they hide from their customers behind email and make a point of not answering the phone isn't acceptable and, given the comments above, I will think long and hard before I use them again.

regards

Ian

Could be Planning and Business Rates for a retail unit had to be considered.

Well I was told by Mark the owner of CDSG that my order would be here first week in Feb, guess what!
I also did the the stupid thing of Googling "CDSG reviews"not pretty reading, guess I will have to contact the credit card company and get them to deal with it.

Don’t rush to get the ball rolling yet as the USA are not probably give us priority over fellow citizens, your order might be with mine and could be just a week or 2 late.
I have waited a very long time but as someone else said and I will vouch for them, I have always ended up getting the goods, but not impressed with truth & correspondence.

Yes you are right a simple message/e-mail saying its been delayed due to what ever, but this not been able to contact anyone or even get a response makes me me very wary, next think they will using their LTD £1 guarantee.

As an update I got my tracking number today. Guess it could take months for the ranges to open so no drama.
