Change to condition or variation ??

Hi all, wondered if anyone can help out on this a little ???

I am looking at changing the conditions on one of my rifles from range use to vermin control (tis a rimmy!)
Now as this is outlined in the conditions of my licence and I already own the rifle, should this change incur a cost. As I understand, changes to conditions are free.
Have I got this right, or do I need to get out my cheque book ?

It's a variation so I think it will be free - I spoke to my FEO a few weeks ago and he said that the fee is for when you add to your holding. A quick call to your firearms licensing authority will confirm it either way...

There should be no charge for merely changing the condition which this is.

Yes if you have good reason but as you have target ammo already they may just include expanding separately
