For more information and to organise booking and payment please contact Iain Hutchison

All proceeds raised from the day go towards Leuchie House which specialises in offering caring respite breaks for people with long term physical and neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease, spinal injuries and the effects of stroke. Included in every Leuchie break is personalised 24 hour care, specialist physiotherapy sessions, a programme of fun activities, outings and entertainment, and delicious home-made food.

Short respite breaks are a lifeline for most people with long term conditions and for the people who care for them – usually a spouse or other family member. For many carers the demands of a 24/7 caring role can leave them at breaking point.

A respite break is an opportunity for them to have time away from their caring responsibilities, knowing that the person they usually look after is receiving round-the-clock care.
