Chelsea boot recommendations

Hi all,

As the title says I’m looking for some recommendations for a pair of Chelsea boots, nothing too big and cumbersome or with too much of a thick sole.

I thought I’d ask the good folks here as I’m sure most of you have better fashion sense than myself

We used to have 1/4 tips fitted in our heals bit of a late 70's fad but we liked it lol.

Tim we covered our shoes with studs and half round tips front and back .
Sliding down the school corridors got me the stick for ignoring head master a few times.
Was it worth it YES when you heard the noise and some sparks.

You could here the ones who had them sounding like the late Roy Castle lol

I’ve been trying on Cheaney lately but not quite found the ideal fit yet

Also Solovair 6 hole boots are back in stock , Danite sole and £180
The Cheaney are £500

I bought a pair of these at the Scottish Game Fair in 2020 - between the lock downs. They were expensive but I wear them a lot and they will last a long time.

Hoggs of Fife also make a good boot, cheaper but not as nice.

Loakes. Had a pair of RMs but didn’t get on with them - too tight across the front foot. Or if you have the cash you can get some churches.
