Chinese Takeaway at Childerley Sporting

Great evening out on the Chinese at Childerley sporting this evening, really wanted to take my first CWD and managed in the end to get Two, could have had more if wanted to open the wallet up but Two was enough.
Great foot stalk on the first ended up crawling onto the crest of a hill and taking a prone shot about 200 yards, 6.5 gaymoor getting the job done and dropped on the spot.
Left the first one in a hedge then carried on, stalking around the field edge and got close to a couple more but got spotted by one out of sight and as it ran it took the others with it scarpering across the field. Bit further round then spotted three in another field, using a pylon as cover stalking closer then all of a sudden a head popped up about 70 yards in front to the left. Laying down but with head up I got onto the sticks and ended up with a neck shot, two deer in the bag all before the sun started to set.
Cracking evening and would recommend it to anyone looking to stalk some CWD, the guide Julian was great, very calm, methodical and got me onto the cull animals without any fuss.IMG_9589.jpeg
