Interesting read.

I was out yesterday on some ground shooting squirrels for a wealthy landowner who made his fortune growing trees/saplings for garden centres.

He’s passionate about his ground and trees and every single squirrel shot he recycles into fertiliser some how. He’s been doing it for years and with well over 200 shot this year, no doubt its given a boost to his soil.

I had to put an aged ewe down and also a yearling angus calf one year and buried them with a loader and then planted Aussie Red Gums over each grave.
The trees did nothing for two years then went like they were on the `roids.
