was thinking along the lines of 6.5x55 or similar , what does creedmoor bring ?You would be much better off putting in for a 6.5 Creedmoor on renewal!![]()
Apologies I can see that detail in his post and I don’t know the guy so have no idea where he lives. He is from South Lanarkshire which on the map I have is Scotland

Not got the time or inclination I’m afraid if a generic question is asked a generic answer given. If you hover over the avatar you can see where people are from.
Eh? It doesn't take any time at all?Not got the time or inclination I’m afraid if a generic question is asked a generic answer given.
I would imagine that the 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor will both have good non-toxic availability. You can either go for a 6.5 of some kind which will do the job but IMHO a .308 or .270 will do the job better and hit harder (prepare for the Creed fraternity to get offended) as you only really reap the benefits of a 6.5 at very extended ranges.
Plus you'll get good availability of factory ammunition and choice in non-lead?
Just another option,
Ben
now this is what I didn't want ,stupid comments like this ,I have culled several hundred red using a .243, all im looking for is someone that's loaded a non lead bullet in .243 that would recommend it, pleeeeaseI would imagine that the 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor will both have good non-toxic availability.
The 308 will probably kick too hard for someone who is used to using a lady's calibre which was why I suggested the 6.5 Creedmoor.
what calibre ?100gr Peregrine VRG3
Clover leaf from a 20” 1:10” Mauser M12
Factory ammo available
Just waiting for the retail packaging
