Planning on getting a 457 LRP2, already have an Accutac WB5 I want to use with it.... looking ash the stock its a very flat and broad bottoms frond which I am figuring means a lot of the usual sling stud to pic rail adapters won't sit nicely on it as they are contoured for shorter stocks....

Any ideas on a suitable solution?

I have an LRP with a pic rail mounted by previous owner. Essentially they drilled and screwed into the base of stock with some bonding glue to help.

Buy an atlas 5 slot pic rail. Remove the studs and use similar thread bolts to attach the rail. I’ve done this along with a load of people I know who also have an lrp

If it’s a picatinny bipod rail that’s to be fitted on the stock , best option is to take the rifle out of the stock , remove the front sling swivel out of the stock, then recess the underneath of the stock so you can let the rail into the stock. Bed the rail into the stock with some Devcon, then just drill through and put some bolts and a steel plate through from the barrel side of the stock so as to prevent the bolts from ripping out of the stock when you load the bipod up. You can then just drill and tap a hole into the picatinny rail for a sling stud if the adapter you had didn’t already have one in it.
Kindest regards, Olaf
