And the British gunmaking trade in Birmingham would be destroyed not by the Luftwaffe but by successive British Governments BOTH Labour and Conservative with the major blow being, I would argue Labour in 1967 and the introduction of the Shotgun Certificate in sporting shotgun making and in military weapon manufacturing by Webley and BSA not being considered (if they were even just then still capable) or making respectively a Browning High Power "clone" or an SLR replacement.
Nice to see a country and a company with the skills and understanding to honour they're pilots in such a original way and to such a high standard.
Also for the Czechs to have the courage to make a handgun shows how here in the UK we really are the vanilla of the world, frightened to arm our citizens and even more frightened to upset anybody with the thought of doing such a thing to honour those who gave everything.
