Sold: Danum Blades Roe Catchers Green/Black sculpted Handle

I have a couple of my Roe Catchers for sale.

Both are made from the same matterials but have slight diferences in the handle pattern

Both knives have sculpted Green and black G10 scales with neon green G10 liners. Which have been fitted to the blade with stainless pins. And it comes with a black kydex sheath with a green belt loop bracket.
The handle has been bead blasted to rasin the grain of the G10 and add additional grip.

Steel 3mm Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel
Flat grind with a secondary bevel
Blade length Approx. 110mm
Handle length Approx. 120mm

He can buy an emberleaf if he thinks Alan’s work is expensive,! in my opinion he’s the best value knife maker out there fair price for the quality he turns out had 3 of his knives top class

I’ve purchased a few blades from various makers looking for the “ ideal knive” to be honest some certainly don’t live up to hype they get, particularly on holding an edge, i like a well made, nice blade to look at etc etc just like the next bloke the thing that holds me is the Workable ability of a blade particularly on holding an edge, all my blades are worked the maker ive settled on is Danum blades based purely on working ability of the blade nothing else but handling and sharpness, ive got the fallow and Roe as soon as the shooting slush fund builds up again I’ll be ordering the Muntjac and un zipper to go with them, probably won’t need to buy anything else

Joking apart Danum blades are quality pieces of well made kit, which really work with and for me.

In this last season out with another stalker who was struggling opening up his 2 fallow with his very nice bench made blade, I lent him my Danum fallow blade and his words “ that knife it went through the skin like a hot knife through butter”, he has since picked up a secondhand one and its razor sharp the guy is a happy stalker and the expensive blade is now dubbed as a drawer queen

I have no link with Danum whatsoever I just buy the gear he makes which suit me, never slag off or moan about anyone or a maker just say it as it is Danum make a bloody good blade and does exactly what you ask for not what he thinks you want and I like that

I have one of Alan's knives and also some of his other kit so can attest to the quality of the gear he puts out. Sorry to say but you ain't gonna get that for £33
