De-priming in a Redding Big Boss ll press.

Just a heads up for anybody using a Redding Big Boss II press for de-priming (Not sure about other presses).
I would suggest that you make the effort to keep the hole in the centre of the ram fairly clean for the passage of spent primers into the drop tube. I found out to my cost (and not noticing) that due to the build of gunk the primers were not exiting, and were building up until a complete jam. As a result I had to remove the ram for clearance.

If a spent primer doesn‘t drop there‘s an obstruction. How can one not pay attention to such a simple detail and let gunk build up?

A bit of regular attention from an industrial strength hoover (henry type) and the gunk goes away. I have the same press.

‘Too much lube is never enough’, is not applicable to reloading.
