Decapping .308 Palma brass

Any recommendations for a decapping solution for Palma brass in .308?

I understand the flash hole is smaller in these cases. I use a cheap Lee recapping die usually. I know they make a small flash hole pin...just can't find one in stock anywhere.

Anyone use a specific solution for Palma?

You could pop the stem into a drill and reduce the diameter with some sand paper in a pinch?

Yup, may well need to do that, and probably cheapest option TBH...... Lee replacement pins are pretty reasonable.

Small primer decap rod

Buy a universal decap die you will get both small and large stem decap rods

I ground down the pin on my Lee universal decapping die - very easy to do.

That's what I'm after - the smaller Lee decapping pin for SRP.

Aftab at RS is my usual port of call as easy for me to get to, but he doesn't have one in stock at the moment and can't get hold of one.

My Lee die only came with a standard decapping pin....which is a bugger.

E.g. 1967spud seems to have several Lee decapping pins in stock, that are presumably for small flash hole. You can use one of those with shell holder and hammer to decap. Of course not ideal but low cost temporary solution.
