Open to all the BDS North West England branch are holding a Deer Evening on Thursday 11th January 2024 at 6:30pm at Crooklands, Milnthorpe, LA7 7NW.

We will have two speakers: Robin Gillespie the National Trust Deer Manager for the Lakes on deer management on NT properties in the region and Tom Logan on the work he has carried out in the second year of his PHD thesis on red deer management in Borrowdale.

There will be a voluntary contribution of £5 on the evening. Please confirm if you can attend on northwestengland@bds.org.uk with the subject line ‘Deer evening.’
 
On Arran that week otherwise would have attended! Went to the one in November 22 where Tom spoke and was an interesting evening!
 
Spaces available and, to reiterate this is open to all, not just BDS members

We will be in the Westmoreland Suite which is upstairs above the 'The Inn' in the older part of the property

Well done to all,it was a good evening.Both guest speakers gave interesting presentations.
