Not to big well up for the job designed for, just transporting around. It is a quality bit of kit, mostly doing Roe have larder nearby to sort Fallow, look at Tom 8 smaller version 👍

Realistically, how long does it take to set up and would it handle large Reds?
Looking for an easier way to get them into the truck solo rather than using it to gralloch (although it would make it easier to keep the carcass clean doing that too)

Mine lets me swing the body on the tailgate take the head off starting from underneath then gravity does a lots of the work, yes it could be taller but you will still be on your knees so it is a good ballance, I don't take the feet off as they make good grab handles and sets up in around a minute.
Crude yes, cheap very, works well for me "yes"
Weight wise this Fallow would have been live weight +100kg as it was 84.5 kg dressed.
They all work but cost is also important, if I shot big stuff all the time then I would have no canopy top and a hoist off one corner as that way the truck bed height the right way for starters, but I don't so mine covers thing like dogs pigeon gear.

Heaviest so far is dressed weight red 122kg so do the maths on that.
