Greetings my Anglican cousins. Took this gal Sunday on my hunting lease. Stuck her with an arrow at 20 yards. She piled up 60 yards away. Back straps baby!

Many congrats.
Off to archery tonight, but very new to it.
What draw length do you have and what is the poundage of the bow?
Cheers

Thanks UTGRAD, we usually have a fantastic time, I shot an awesome 13 pointer beginning of the year and missed a coyote but gave it a good fright !!!! with a arrow zipping past it's ears !!!,

HH that looks like the exit wound.
dds I started about a month ago and practice most days, as a starter I found that 56lb was good to start off with, but I can go up to 70lb, I had my draw length measured at bass pro, and the bow set there, great sport, 25 yds with a bow is like hitting the bull at 300 with a rifle.

Archery is a year round sport. Here in the States we have 3D archery tournaments. It's very similar to golf and tons of fun. It's a course of 20 life sized animal targets such as deer, boar, bear, etc. spread throughout the woods. Each target has scoring rings...12, 10, 8, and 5. You shoot from a stake and each target is at various distances. Highest score wins and there are different classes. Some of the bigger shoots prize money can be $5000! TONS of fun and good practice.

Thanks Taff, i still haven't tried a compound bow yet, but i have had my draw length measured, 26 3/4'' but no idea what i can pull, the recurve i have been lent has a 40lb pull which is fine to pull back, but holding it back is the problem!

28.5" draw length and the bow maxes out at 70 lbs but it's backed down to 65 lbs.
Thanks for the info UT

Cheers
