Dog friendly hotel

Hi all
Looking for somewhere close to the stalking show so we can take the mut, anyone had any good experiences nearby, at a realistic price

Cheers

Yeah I had this with the missus, is she ready for it?! and the little s**t greets everyone like a long lost friend (not the mussus😉). But she wants to take her as there will be more of her kind to look at there than anywhere else we'll go, and she wants to do the vets corner as she's only 9 months plus hopefully find some bits for her like one of those vest things, but I see the down sides

Possibly not the ideal environment for a dog. But what's the alternative? Leaving the dog home alone maybe with a neighbour or relative looking in a couple of times? It's always no bad thing for your dog to experience different surroundings. And if the dog is happy in it's cage in the back of the car for a while, it doesn't have to be dragged around all the halls all the time anyway. And for sure if you camp, the dog will be ecstatic.

As for camo, well there's those that shop in Tescos in camo and practically live in it. Perhaps the likes of Deerhunter etc. should bring out camo designs for all environments. I could see bottles and cans camo for the drinks aisle in Tesco. They could call it Beerhunter.

Unless dogs are being shown or on a stand I don't think they should be allowed, it's an indoor event which is very busy, most people are looking at stalls or where to go, not down so not to step on or trip over some dogs or their Shite some irresponsible owners can't be arsed to pick up.

All valid points thanks folks.
But, if after the warnings the missus still wants to take the dog, and if she doesn't want to camp, can anyone recommend a hotel for us all?
Cheers
