Driven optics

Bionic eyes, like Steve Austen in "The Six Million Dollar Man". Assuming that I had US$16,000,000, adjusted for inflation since the 1970s.

Express sights and a rifle that fits like a glove! :-D

David.
thats about it ,what ever type of sight you put on your rifle the stock should fit ,so to be able to mount with eyes closed and the sights to be lined up on opening your eyes glass or iron ,mounting practice as in shotgun game shooting ,though i have found my shotgun stock to be a little longer than my rifle to get a good fit ,i did use a doctor 2+20 for a while but felt it too delicate for the job i was doing soi took it off and made a wide Express sight

If money was not a problem , what would be your ideal optic for driven game ?

Your definition of driven game is?

Hare. Shotgun, open sights.
Fox. Rifle, 24mm objective, x 4 magnification.
Deer. As above.
Boar. Rifle, open sights or red dot like Aimpoint HS1

I didn't like the Aimpoint sights for driven hunting, but preferred a very low mag scope, the ultimate for me being a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 with a CD-I reticle, so either that or open sights would be my choice.

Some open sights seem much better than others, I picked up a Merkel Helix today that had a really nice set on, really came to the eye nicely but unfortunately I didn't get to use it in anger!!
