East Mercia BDS in partnership with UKSHA are please to announce their SHOT SITE SEMINAR day to be held on Sunday the 10th September.
This will take place at Boughton House near Kettering.
The day will consist of scenarios involving ‘follow up to shot’ with particular emphasis on the recognition of blood and hair clues and other salient points which can aid you to find deer which do not drop on the spot when shot.
This is a very interesting and informative day and the scenarios will be led by an UKSHA (UK Scent Hound Association) member, who will not only demonstrate and inform us what we can do to locate our deer, but when that fails what a dedicated deer recovery dog can do to assist us.
Start time will be 0900hrs on the day, so please plan your arrival for 0830hrs to allow for traffic issues. It will be an outdoor event so dress appropriately and bring your own refreshments.
The day will be priced at £25 per attendee.
Certificates of attendance will be available for another £2.50
Places will be limited to 30, on a ‘first come first served’ basis with priority for EM BDS members.
