FAC Grant application with Hampshire

What is going on or should I say not going on I started the ball rolling in April 2024 for my FAC grant application. I did it online do paid my £80 up front.
I got an email a few weeks later saying that my application will not be actioned for around 40 weeks as they were concentrating on clearing renewals and trade applications.
I contacted the BASC who made inquiries on my behalf and they got fobbed off in the same manner. Fast forward to 13/12/2024 I get a txt say that my application had been passed to the FEO ( yahoo)
13/01/2025 I get an email from my assigned FEO asking for some details.
28/01/2025 All questions answered and submitted.
07/02/2025 things moving at a pace now
Home visit and land visit done
13/02/2025 FEO cleared my referees
14/02/2025 FEO submitted my file
26/02/2025 email from Firearms Licensing Administrator(FEA) stating she has received my file and requested my SGC and additional £2 for coterminous.
27/02/2025 £2 paid and licence sent to arrive next day.
03/03/3025 last correspondence from FEA saying payment received but haven’t opened the mail yet.
And that is where we are at present.
I’ve been without an SGC for 10 days so can’t even go clay pigeon shooting as I don’t know if my SGC is still current or not.
And to top it off the fee is going up with guarantees that the additional revenue is going to go to the FIREARMS & EXPLOSIVES LICENSING dept to help provide a better service.

Not good mate.

They should definitely give you a temporary cert for your SGC in the meantime

Sounds like you're close to getting it sorted...mine took a year, almost to the day, once it was (eventually) with the FEO it moved relatively quickly from that point. Very frustrating!

Not good mate.

They should definitely give you a temporary cert for your SGC in the meantime

I emailed the FEO asking the question.
They didn’t bother to reply.

Did you not keep a photocopy? It sounds like they are potentially doing you a favour by changing to coterminous if you didn't request it on applying for your S1
