There was a guy that kept them there, he had a little mini zoo. He also owned Gretna football club while they were good. The deer were let go a few years ago I think. He went bust and died I think. Whatever, his estate is run by liquidators and there are a few fallow about.
They'll be quite fit too I'd expect, I'd imagine every long dog in Carlisle has run them.
