Legal to do so in the UK. Mate of mine who is of otherwise sound mind and a good shot, feeds foxes and rats in his back garden! They sit out and wait for him to bring the grub, whilst his Staffordshire bull terrier watches! It’s illegal to feed seagulls in many coastal towns - but as a local bylaw not a criminal offence. I feed my local foxes lead and then sometimes copper- as a treat.
