Anyone gralloching in the field with a tree pulley and gambrel?
Where do you buy yours from and what are the best / strongest products out there?

Thanks again

Folding gambrel from monarch ten foot of a decent rope not the blue stuff added weight to aid the throw haul to a handy position it only needs a half hitch to lock the rope in position

Two of these and some para cord will enable you to lift the biggest fallow bucks with ease and the additional weight to carry is minimal. You will need a sturdy 8mm + S hook though. The one here from donnington deer management is ideal. It will also last you a life time. 1678441775142.png1678441946793.png

More crap to lug around.
Rifle, bullets, knife, sticks, binos, sack or drag.
With my back I would rather carry this and do the gralloch standing up rather than bent over. The carcass is then cooling whilst I either carry on stalking or go back to get the car. If I'm only likely to be shooting roe or smaller it's obviously not required.
