As a trainee roofer many an idle hour spent trying to buy sky hooks,bubbles for spirit levels and waiting for the " long stand "

WTF hang something up in the air to do what you can do where it is in-situ? it's a bit like dragging a stag out of a clearfell to then go home and butcher it,,..

Two of these and some para cord will enable you to lift the biggest fallow bucks with ease and the additional weight to carry is minimal. You will need a sturdy 8mm + S hook though. The one here from donnington deer management is ideal. It will also last you a life time.

With my back I would rather carry this and do the gralloch standing up rather than bent over. The carcass is then cooling whilst I either carry on stalking or go back to get the car. If I'm only likely to be shooting roe or smaller it's obviously not required.
