FIPROtec flea and tick treatment

Just bought some of this to try as almost every outing with the dog, he's back with quite a tick load (frontline spot on Plus stuff which doesn't seem that effective). This was recommended and is almost half the price (£14.99 for 6 pipettes). Will post on here after trying it. Needs a week after application to be effective.

Itwill be no more effective than the frontline as it is the same active ingredient.

if its as good as front id say its going to be naff, just about every flea job i get they have used fipronil based products. if you are going to use it then get a decent prescription product at least every three months

I was always under the impression that flea and tick treatments don't deter them, only kill them within 24 hrs or so of attaching / feeding?
