First Aid +F Course​

Are you interested in taking a First Aid course? Pro Shoot is pleased to announce the organisation of two one-day First Aid +F courses, scheduled for the weekend of 21st and 22nd March 2026. These sessions are open to all, with the +F module being particularly beneficial for deer stalkers and those who spend considerable time outdoors.

Course Details​

The EFAW+F (Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry/Firearms) course is a comprehensive, hands-on programme delivered over a single day. The curriculum covers essential first aid topics, including:

• DRABC (Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation)
• Secondary survey
• Recovery position
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Managing shock, bleeding, burns, heart attacks, choking, and epilepsy
• Specialist topics: severe bleeding, crush injuries, hypothermia, and Lyme disease

Our training approach is highly interactive, ensuring that participants have the opportunity to practise key skills such as applying tourniquets, using haemostats, and packing wounds. These practical exercises are conducted in realistic scenarios to help embed the knowledge and techniques learned.

Just reading the volume of topics on your list: primary/secondary/CPR/trauma principals/ 4 types of shock AND everything else and an exam? Phew.

Yes it is its a 1 day first aid at work course. It includes the plus F (Forestry) Crushes, etc. They are good courses.
Yes theres spaces. If you wish to do it theres a registration form to fill in. I would need your email address.

A positive recommendation for Pro training - I did my first EFAW+F with them years back - I have now done 2 further courses (with others) - beginning to feel old
