First Press - without brand snobbery

You make some good and valid points but in the matter of neck bushing dies its only after using one that the frankly agricultural properties of a standard die's expander ball/mandrel will be fully appreciated.

Different manufacturers brass wall thickness will vary by some 10 thousandths of an inch so to me neck sizing the outside would give me different inner diameters. Just saying

Right,🙂..Yep, common consensus is that you can use bushig dies only if you turn collets inside and outside so to have a steady measures..Too much hassle to me infact I have on sale my only bushing type dies set wich was for my LR 308..

Don't disregard the less popular RCBS Partner press.
It has a very basic, but very good on-press priming arm.
If you squeeze the primer in by gripping the ram handle and the press frame at the same time, you get very good "feel" when seating the primer.
(See attached pic for a visible explanation.)
