I'm off to Spain in December with my rifle, can anyone suggest which airline may be best please??

Flew to Malaga with Easyjet last November with a rifle, no problem at all.

It's always worth checking the prices of the flag carriers, e.g. Iberia, as they generally carry firearms cases for free or for a nominal fee as additional sporting baggage.

Budget carriers like Easyjet charge around £50 each way for gun cases AND charge an additional fee for hold baggage, so the overall price often exceeds the national airline's price. That said, Easyjet are pretty efficient when it comes to firearms and all of the flights I've made with them to Europe have been without incident.
