The problem is , as you never go out you have no routine and not a clue what you are doing.
Experience is key and developing a method that works 👍
There speaks a man presumably young in body and mind who has never had to “balance” a rifle, sticks, safety catch, Thermal Spotter, Electronic Caller remote, Pard (007 or is it a bloody 008 this time?) and of course himself, all at one time - whilst the bushy-tailed nemesis comes hurtling in - now unseen!

Not so young anymore and been around the block a few times.
As said experience and develop a method ...simples.

brilliant. you are not alone. i had done similar end of last year with it 50 yards away only to drop my thermal to stop it fouling my trigger hand! fox f**ked off and i was raging at myself but found the funnyside after a few months 🤣😳
