Fox gone too far

Have a few foxes at side of house have permission on there and shot one few month back but thought leave them for now as weren't doing any harm and always handy having somewhere were there's always some there but tonight my little dog a jr was barking like mad and yelping as I went down to edge of drive (that's higher than field) seen the dog and a big fox behind it I shouted dog it come running to me and fox followed and was on the back of dog I went got gun and shot it through bedroom window no mod just a bullet that was first to see and think I've missed not 100% but can't see it anyway think it'll be back tonight hoping not got a cocky lamp shy fox now was rushing way to much! I bet you don't leave the bl**dy things alone any more.
Hope the dogs ok, if it got bitten make sure the wounds are cleaned well, and keep an eye on them for any infection.

My thoughts exactly, Charlie wouldn't have got into my garden with my terrier on patrol.

Im glad your terrier is ok, hopefully you will get Charlie next time.
