Anyone loading Fox Lead free 130gr bullets in .308? The load data on the Fox website (45gr of N135) seems pretty hot!

Anyone loading Fox Lead free 130gr bullets in .308? The load data on the Fox website (45gr of N135) seems pretty hot!

I loaded some before the 45gr load was published and ended up with a hotter load which showed no pressure signs in my rifle.

I have since wound the load down and have one just below 45gr. All three loads averaged around the same 0.850” 5 shot groups as do most of my loadings.

I was using Lapua brass. I did have a box of factory that chambered normally and shot much the same but were very notchy to extract. They were in PPU brass

Used the fox data, works nicely and accurate.

Far from it
Proofed at almost 10kpsi below max
Ppu is thin and volume high

Always work up though
