Fridge hanging rail installation help advice

My two bobs worth, some may critique it some may say fair do’s, I bought some small catering grade polysomething or other sheets cut to size, chopping boards type material 10-12mm thick and a 25mm stainless steel bar, no nailed the sheets to the sides after cutting out notches for the bar to sit in, then siliconed round the edges to seal it.
Im sure there are better ways to achieve the desired result.

Lots of good advice. Make sure you buy a 240V mains electric hoist. One of the best things I ever bought for the fallow.

I have double stainless Foster, I bought galvanised 32mm scaffold poles, and fittings, does the job well, all removable for deep cleaning etc.

Centre support foot plate just sits there, not fastened to base of fridge, only to the pole itself.

Whole thing was under £50 cut to size & delivered.

Hi thanks for the photos very useful, can I ask what bolts you use to attach the fixings to the side wall? I am concerned I would damage the fridge or go in to deep. Foster seem like a good make and right size.

I have exactly the same fridge and a double one . What you want is a couple of these wall flanges , use big stainless rivets to fix with a bit of hand rail between. V cheap strong and hygienic.

Exactly this See my post #2 - I have 2 electric hoists (Lidl): one is on a trolley and slides along a rail so I can lift the fallow out of my plasters batch and move it along the rail to load it into and out from the chiller (second picture); the second is fixed at my "skinning station" (fourth picture) so I can raise and lower the carcass without ****ing my back!

I used large stainless rivets . Just drill through the inner wall of the fridge . I think its aluminium. You'll need a lazy tong type rivet gun.

Pot-rivet uni-strut sections into place, then use galvanized wiring conduit for hanging rails...

That's exactly how I do them.

looks great, where do you get the telescoping extending rail from? and how did you secure that tot the top of fridge. Min is a foster so not sure how much i could drill into the roof of chiller area as the compressor sits above.

Look at the first picture in post #2. The fridge portion of the rail is top-mounted off front/rear cross bars that in turn are bolted to brackets at either side which are themselves bolted to a bar that sits on the side wall fridge rail shelf clips. The external portion is connected when the fridge door is opened using a push-fit joining clamp. All of these bits are Buller sliding door bits.

Hi,

I have just purchased a secondhand Foster PRO 600 LT R404A commercial fridge and would like to know the best way of fitting a rail or rails to hang fallow and muntjac please. Internal dimensions are 560mm wide x 700mm deep.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
