Front sling stud on a SBS?

Possibly in the wrong section but...

...is there a simple (clamp on?) fitment to enable a sling to fit on to a side by side shotgun please?

Obviously the stock end isn't a problem but I thought there might be an over-the-barrels clamp on split "8" type thing?

drill/tap a sling stud to the bottom of the rib is an option..not 'simple', but an option nonetheless.

That is very smart. Is the fitting off the shelf or home made please?

PS. About 100 years ago I was a toolmaker - and all my screw heads still line up. Nice work.
