I used mine on my moderated sub12 air rifle and it was within 2fps of the MSV3 and picked up all shotsThe projectile weight is only used for calculating kinetic energy, it doesn't affect the velocity readings.
I tested my Xero today with a Glock 17 CO2 BB gun firing steel balls weighing 5.3gn. It captured every shot and showed a pretty constant velocity and kinetic energy for 50 shots, after which it fell off a cliff as you would expect.

The used it all day today at the range shooting .22s to braked .300s and it didn’t miss a beat, chuck it on the bench roughly in the right direction and picks up every shot.
I am not totally convinced the convenience is enough to warrant me keeping it instead of the MSV3, it’s the thought of potential PRS in the future which has me torn
