Are you sure it's the Importer that you have a problem with and not your local retailer?
No problems around here. Forest Lodge in Wragby have plenty of components, then they spend the money with the importers.

Westlander imports S&B and Lovex (was Accurate) powders. Both good products.

Because Ruag have indicated that they are not particularly interested in selling reloading components in this country. The same company has however recently revamped their sales operation in the U.S. and are actively promoting reloading using Norma components.

If you look back a few months ago on this forum you will see that we discussed this matter and an extensive list of European manufacturers was given, but the majority of gun shops in the U.K. are aligned with either GMK or Edgar Brothers who both import mainly U.S. reloading components. Therefore the majority of shooters have only seen components that these people supply in their local shops and are either reluctant to try something that they are unfamiliar with or unwilling to start developing new loads all over again.

RUAG are basically a waste of space!

Tried getting a quantity of 9.3x57 Norma ammunition through them and some new 9.3x57 Norma brass. Waste of time and effort calling and speaking to them. RFD found the same. I ended up getting a quantity of once fired brass through a fellow collector in Sweden.

I was using some Vectan powders (French) loading data is a bit short on cartridges though.

I use the Vihtavuori powders, made in Finland. The Viht N140 works brilliantly does in my 308, not used anything else yet.

Brithunter, I've had excellent results with a company in Germany sourcing 9.3x64 brass and dies. PM if you need their contact details.
