I met up with a few chaps the other day to review the doe season and conversation turned to gralloching – as expected, people had slightly different techniques but there was heated disagreement on ways of dealing with the vulva, vagina & udder.
1: Cut out vulva and anus in one go, free off the colon and vagina so that they can be extracted together back through the pelvis.
2: Cut out anus and free off and withdraw with the colon. Then do similar with the vulva & vagina.
3: Cut out anus and free off and withdraw with the colon. Cut the vagina at the front of the pelvis and leave the remainder and vulva in place.
Some would leave the udder in place and others remove it.
I'd be grateful to hear the wider experiences of game dealers’ preferences for this?
