Government grants of 60 per cent available for deer chiller purchase​ ​ Act now – application window closes on 17 April The government's Farming Equipment Technology Fund is offering grants of up to 60 per cent towards the purchase of chilled trailers for deer carcass storage. These grants, provided by the Rural Payments Agency, apply only to deer management operations in England, and applications must be made by midday on 17 April 2024. Items applied for under grant categories FETF423 and FETF424 (for larger chillers) must meet certain minimum specifications and applications are subject to a scoring regime.
