I'd like to learn more about deer stalking and so thought The Stalking Directory would be a good place to start.
I'm in my 20s, beat, shoot a bit and follow my local hunt. Have been around fieldsports since I was knee high. Mother's family is from northern Spain and so regularly visit for driven wild boar. Also followed the beagle pack whilst studying at the Royal Agricultural College.
I'm looking to learn, building up experience before applying for a FAC to help with fox control on the shooting syndicate and my ambition is to eventually become a proficient deer stalker.
My experience with rifles is rather limited though I would be very interested to hear of guided stalking opportunities in Essex to get a taster and go from there.
