Hi would this fit a tikka M595 ?

Thanks
@Gregbhoy - not without modification.

The action screw spacing is the same but the M595 has a flat base action vs the T3 which is profiled. You’d need to remove material from the stock to get the M595 to sit on the pillars & also mill down the front pillar height too.

There’d also be a gap between the stock & edge of the bottom metal too as the M595 has parallel sides whereas the T3 is profiled & you’d need to cut a section out for the magazine release catch.

Having modified a GRS laminated stock to take a M595 I’ve thought several times about doing a Berserk but just always seem to have too much else going on to get round to it.

If you have some DIY skills & have either bedded rifles before or have the confidence to do it then give it a try & post some pics of your work 👍

Thanks @Donkey Basher for the detailed reply I wouldn’t be to confident on an expensive stock for my first go! I suppose if it’s milling out material with a dremmel it can’t be that hard.

I expect it would be a similar process on a standard t3x synthetic stock?

Appreciate your time

@Gregbhoy in principle yes, except the standard T3 synthetic stock doesn't have the glass reinforced pillars the GRS has from memory. Would certainly be a good way of working out any issues before setting to on a Berserk stock 👍

Milling the front pillar on the GRS would be the hardest part but if you are careful & measure once, twice, three times, four times, etc. & set it all up properly so you end up with a parallel face cut you could probably do it in a drill press using a forstner bit. For bedding the action I think I’d use isopol glass reinforced filler rather than devcon.

hello excuse my stupidity, but I have only had one coffee so far today..... would a T3 varmint barrel 6.5mm x 55 fit straight into this?
