Delivery expected next week for those who are waiting to see them in the flesh.

We will have the Magnus and ClymR models in 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and 7PRC on the shelf

I believe they are all in Carbon Forest with Tungsten finish on the metal work. There will be a website launching in the next few days with the full details on - as soon as it's live I will post on here

Looking at the US $ price they have to be in the region of a nice UK made custom rifle.

They were listed starting north of £8k at the shooting show but i think that includes membership and a number of days at the “Accuracy Academy” or whatever its called in the UK. They are a very nice, well built custom spec rifle, built to a specification to suit modern, high performing cartridges.

I would hope it’s the price on gunwerks website - as if it’s 10-20% with with import charges then I think people would choose to build their own custom rifle

Tricky …. Go on the forums on snipers hide and generally there is a lot of negatively regarding gunwerks being overpriced … and if we have to pay 20% ontop of the already “overpriced” rifle then it’s a hard sale …

You can build yourself a dream custom rifle for this price point . Manners stock / defiance action / trigger tech diamond / moderator / whatever barrel your heart chooses and still have change in your pocket towards an optic …

Yes but your dream custom rifle might take a long time to come together, and not function properly when it does. With a Gunwerks you can go to a gunshop and have it there and then. Some people will pay for that and also the membership of the academy and have a place to use it, and instruction on how to use it. Not everyone is content scratching around with a cheap rifle.

I agree - not sure on the academy … but the build time is of course a consideration ….

Also not sure if you’re saying I’m scratching around with a cheap rifle ? Lol

My cadex seven stars has a zco 5-27 , a vortex impact 4000 well … I’ve spent around £17k on my 6.5 creedmoor alone …

also , having a 223 built right now . masterpiece arms ESR chassis - defiance ruckus action - bartlein barrel - trigger tech diamond trigger - wildcat ti moderator …

So yea , I’d rather buy once and buy right for sure

Interesting conversation. Not everyone wants to go down the custom route and these certainly tick boxes for a lot of people interested in premium long range rifles. We are certainly looking forward to having them here

I’m open to all options - I have a cadex prs rifle … I have a custom 223 rifle being built …. So why not get a gunwerks in 6.5 PRC ? looking forward to seeing what they look like… my only worry is … there is a lot of negativity on the sniper hide forums regarding these rifles where they have been on sale for many many years …

But of course I’ll make my own judgement - chances are I’m going to buy one anyway

Does it come with their load development do you know ? As then the price becomes much more appealing ?
