Haix sizes - another boots post !

Just bought some unissued surplus Haix desert boots.

£55 for a pair of these in unworn condition, brilliant value.

Have purchased surplus Haix before, Wet and Cold boots are great. Also have the High Liability desert ones.

On this occasion had to send back and get size 13 , others are 12’s and I am generally 12.

Anybody else find Haix sizing coming up small ? These boots appear to have a different sizing number system, cant see a normal UK size number on them.

Cold weather boots I have to go up a size, but the high liability seem to be ok for me.
Great boots, that last ages!!

Cold weather boots aren't the most comfy but definitely the best value at 50quid. Had mine years. They were fine on size.

Yes, they are half a size small.
I have discovered that if you remove the factory fitted innersoles you should see the true size printed underneath. So, for example, I take a large size 11 in boots, so an 11W fitting ought to be ok. Not so. Much too small. Under the innersoles I found that it says size 10.5
Now I am wearing size 12 Haix milsurp cold weather boots and they are ideal. Basically they're an 11.5

Yes, I found Haix sizing very peculiar. Couldn’t get them to work for me which was a shame as they were very well made. And extremely expensive.

Try the Iturri surplus boots…... I switched to these after Haix and think they’re a better boot.

Yes I’ve got a pair of iturri and again imo come up small so definitely go the next size up
