Hello All,

Nice to e-meet you all.
I hold a European hunting / shooting license, but have always been interested in the British country sports such as shooting and stalking.
Perhaps anyone in South East Essex would like a mentee or just a companion?
Happy to start with small game and move up the ladder.
Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for a mentor for your own land or looking to go to your mentors land ?

Sarfend on sludge as it got covered up wive dredger stones and old smelly oyster shells from Yarn-moff

Hello mate, welcome to the site. I can’t help you with permission or mentoring but I can give you suggestions which will direct you in right way to start shooting in the UK. Drop me a message if you need any help.

Welcome from Essex also, good luck on finding a mentor, if I were experienced enough to I'd offer but afraid I'm not
Thanks a lot for warm welcome. Haha must be more experience than me. If you don’t mind me asking how did you start- is there a local club / association to join?

Started on clays (plenty around essex) also a member of denghie wildfowling club and as a member of basc did my first stalk with them on their hockwold scheme

book up with one of the outfitters on here.
What have you shot in Europe, wild boar or deer?
Yes, definitely a good option to start. Also want to understand how everything works and what would be a long term solution.
Deer, boar, birds. We have local clubs that lease hunting grounds from the government and once you are a member you can go anytime in the area ( of course up to the planned cull for the whole area)
