Hello from sunny North Wales

I have just joined the Forum today, I've been shooting for just on 40 years and Deer Stalking since 2000. I have my DSC 1 and was a Deer Manager in North East Scotland near Inverurie about 20 miles from Aberdeen for a number of years. Due to some health issues I had to leave that position and now live near Flint on the North Wales coast, I generally use a 30-06 Titan 16 rifle for the majority of my stalking as its accurate and light to carry. I also enjoy long range shooting and have a 300WM and a 308 Win for getting out to 1000 yards (steel plates only at that distance), and spend some time with Orion down in mid Wales.

Welcome. I spent 35 years growing up near Wrexham, had some great pest control land to shoot over but am now out in Austria. I still return to visit family. I also shoot 30-06 and bring it back to the UK each year as I still work there for half the year.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm only really interested in quarry that can be taken with a rifle. I shoot clay pigeon at the Flint Clay Target, but don't shoot any flying quarries anymore.
