Hi All,

I've been following threads on The Stalking Directory for years but for some reason never got round to registering. I have now. I stalk in the Highlands - red, roe and sika; shoot pigeon, pheasant and the occasional woodcock; I have recently started reloading, which is largely due to the cost of ammunition now as well as the need to cull higher numbers; I have a fantastic sprocker that is a self-taught stalking dog and great on finding but not picking up birds; and, I shoot .308, .243 and will quite soon add 7x57/.275 to the cabinet. I forage for as long as the seasons allow and my kids have got used to eating venison year-round, get a bit bored of pheasant in the winter, and love it when boar ribs are on the menu. I value the advice of anyone more experienced than me, so, thank you all.
