hi all
been into shooting for a while now with my son, starting with clays. then we moved onto wildfowling for a few seasons around the estuary's, with very limited success. have since joined the nra and now shoot full bore including gallery rifle for which we have a lovely jm stamped marlin 1894 in .44 mag.
also starting long range shooting and have recently got my hands on a tikka t3 varmint stainless in 6.5 x 55 swede with a vortex viper pst scope on top.
not sure if it will be for me, as im not a natural hunter, but would like to have a go at deer stalking. so any help much appreciated to get me started, would my current rifle be ok for deer. would also like to try wild boar hunting too at some stage.
