Hik Alpex Battery

I have a 6 month old Alpex, charging as normal, green light when fully charged as usual.

Come to use the scope and the battery has dumped all the charge, low power warning and scope shuts off.

Charged it fully yesterday, came to use it this evening and the above happened.

Anyone have any ideas or similar experience? Have I missed a firmware update, or is the unit faulty it's been used but well looked after, never dropped or bumped.

Been perfect up to now.

Have you tried running the battery totally flat then put in on the charger for 24 hours.
That's what Scott country told me to try.
It made a great difference in battery runtime

Make sure it's turned off and not on standby. I usually give mine a charge couple hours prior to going out, I have a had your issue when been put away on standby.

I had this issue when my alpex was about 2 months old, I updated the software, and then charged to full and ran to empty a couple of times. Now I get around 4 hours of use out of a charge, about 12-14 hours on standby.
