I'm after upgrading my Pulsar xm30s for a new thermal. I really like the look of the new Hicmicro Falcon FQ35 2.0. Anyone got one as I would like some user feedback. Thanks

thanks . Are they good overall and worth £1800 . Mainly for stalking . Picture quality and overall feel of the unit. Ease of use and weight in the hand?

As any other spotter with 640x512 sensor and 35mm lens, also Falcon FQ35 will do the job.
On the other hand, I had Pulsar Oryx XG35 on test at the same time.
I prefered the shape of Oryx and inbuild LRF.
Picture is slightly different in Pulsar. Not necessairly worse, just different.

Falcon is using standard batteries, while Oryx is using Pulsar APS5 which are not cheap.

All in all as I sad.
Falcon will do the job as well as some other options.

Nocpix LUMI H35
Pulsar Oryx XG35 lrf
Pulsar Axion Compact XG35
Pixfra
Conotech

And there are some other less known brands that are also making spotters with 35mm lens and 640x512 sensor.
And by my estimation this is currently optimal combination, performance and money wise.

Cheers

I have the fq35 2.0 and iam very happy with it, image is a big step up from my previous thermal. Unit is a bit bigger and heavier but that’s to be expected I guess. One handed focus is a really nice feature.
