Thanks in advance ,after some advice on a decent mincer for home processing any help greatly appreciated my new butcher doesn’t take venison so am going to do myself

There's been a load of posts on this before and you'll even find a few in the "similar threads" below this post
To summarise

Some say a Kenwood chef attachment is great. Often available second hand. Strong motor. Adjustable speed. Cheap
Other people hate them

Lidl mincers get a decent rep
Andrew James very sought after when they come up

Then there is a whole pile of people who go small commercial. Buffalo. Tre spade

All of the above work for people depending on what you need

My personal view is that the Kenwood thing works fine if you do it occasionally and can pick up a cheap one . I have one and it is a workhorse for all sorts of stuff

But eventually you'll want to move to a dedicated mincer and once you do that get the better end of what you can afford because a bad one will just make your life painful

Oh. And how many bowls have you got?
You need more than that
And then a few more big ones

I bought one of these in 2019 for £75 off eBay and it's fantastic. Fairly compact and doesn't take long to mince a decent batch. I just cut venison into 2" cubes and it works like a champ.

The spigot on the worm was getting worn about a year ago and Luvele sold me a whole new housing, worm, tray etc for £17.95 - pretty great service.

It probably gets through about 20-25 deer a year, mostly smaller roe and a handful of red deer for making mince, sausages, burgers.

A couple of s/h Andrew James meat grinders on eBay at the moment - put a search in & save it as I bought a new boxed one for about half what the cheapest used one is listed for at the moment.
