How is your 25-06 rifle scoped ?

Just wondering how you scope your 25-06 ! My Sauer 202 wears an S&B Zenith 2.5-10x56 which is a great scope but I have sometimes thought I could use a scope with more magnification to fully use its long range potentials.....

When i had one, well 3 actually, they wore 6-24x50 tds4i swaros. I too used think they had long range capability until i discovered the 6.5x47l - thats like a short action 25-06 which bucks the wind better. 25-06 is fantastic sub 300y gun, will have one again im sure.

ive been looking at both. well the 6.5x47 uses less powder and more accurate. i need a rifle as a duel foxer. and the 25/06 offers better foxing bullets imo. so looks like i will be going for the 25/06. will fit my 6x24x56 victory on top

2.5-10x50 ziess its ok for most what i do, the only real issue is when lamping foxes at 150+meters

Working rifle gets a good working scope, Swaro 2-12x50. No bells and whistles required.

Fox at 150 metres no problem. Regularly shoot this gun longer than that.

More magnification can be a distraction. I put a 60x on my .308 for one day only.

Well, It seems like my S&B 2.5-10x56 is very similar to what most of you have.... No need for higher magnification then...
